About
The caterpillars of the bright-line brown-eye moth are known to frequently consume plants that are typically considered weeds by gardeners, such as dandelions, dock, and plantain. This behavior typically results in minimal damage to the surrounding vegetation. However, there are instances where these caterpillars will feed in groups on the leaves of tomato plants. As they grow in size, they may even penetrate deep into the ripening tomatoes, ultimately ruining the fruit.
