About

The green shield-shaped bug is widely found in England and Wales, although its presence in Scotland is less frequent. During the spring and summer seasons, this bug displays a vibrant green colour with small black dots, while transitioning to a greeny-bronze hue in autumn. Notably, its wing tips exhibit a dark brown shade. Adult shield bugs undergo hibernation within grass tussocks or leaf litter, reemerging in the month of May.
