About
The long-tailed tit, is a small passerine bird found throughout Europe and parts of Asia. This species is characterized by its distinctive plumage, which features a white head and nape, black mask and bib, and pinkish-brown body. Long-tailed tits are sociable birds, often congregating in flocks of up to 20 individuals during the winter months. They are primarily insectivores but also feed on seeds and berries when insects are scarce, such as in winter. Long-tailed tits nest in small cups woven from moss and spider webs, typically hidden away in dense vegetation. Due to their soft coloration and gentle demeanor, these birds have become popular with birdwatchers alike.
